Errors on Vercel hosted version

Description of the bug:

Keep getting this error with version hosted on vercel:

Error generating image: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'parts')
at ee (.next/server/app/api/image/route.js:1:20210)

On the website the error is: "Failed to generate image"

Actual vs expected behavior:

No response

Any other information you'd like to share?

It could be either:

1. A typo with the model name or check if the API Keys are configured correctly
2. If you call generateContent with both Text and Image modalities on an experimental image model, the API might return only one modality at a time—leaving content.parts undefined if it returns image-only data.

Yeah this is still an issue. I can't track it down. I was able to determine this is missing the npm for a generative-ai, but it's still failing to get the "result" (error at route.ts line 211) after I included "npm install @google/generative-ai" but it's still not communicating with Gemini API.

The funny thing is it simply does not build from the repo on Vercel with an API key as an env variable, so with almost no variable that could go wrong it fails to deploy. I spent a couple hours trying to get it working and cannot get past the route.ts errors.
