Hello.
I recently acquired a Xenon on a low enough kernel to JTAG then downgrade to 4548 to perform this, however I kept getting "could not start this game" errors over and over again despite triple checking my boot.xex (which is the supplied triangle demo), making sure I chose the retail one, put it where it's supposed to, and even trying to resign it with XexTool despite it being the demo file.
But then I thought, what would happen if I put it inside Content? The guide said to put it in the root of the hard drive next to Content, but I thought what the hell, so I moved boot.xex inside Content.
It worked.
I was confused so I tried moving boot.xex back to the root and just got "could not start this game" again. Then moving it back inside Content, bam, exploit works and the triangle is on screen.
I know hardly anyone else will bother with this exploit considering the requirements (mostly hardware, this thing threw red lights multiple times during reboots), but I thought I'd reach out to make sure no one has to go through the hoops I went through.
Thank you for your amazing work exploiting games & consoles.
-Ellie.
P.S. Sorry if this is not really the way to write a GitHub request, I'm new here and I don't have a Twitter/X to reach out to you through that platform.
