Firstly thanks a lot for sharing this great project with the world.
I notice that there haven't been any new updates since 2022. As someone who maintains FOSS projects and has learned the hard way how to avoid grief associated with maintainership, please allow me to make some constructive suggestions.
If the project is no longer maintained, I strongly recommend one of the following options:
- Update the README to say it's dead, and archive the repository.
- Update the README to clearly show that a new maintainer is needed, and to explain how people can get in touch if they want to volunteer to take over maintainership.
Either of these can be done in just a few minutes.
If it's left as is, then this will cause several problems:
FOSS maintainership is often a thankless task, and no maintainer is under any obligation to do anything. But with a few minutes of extra effort to clearly communicate the project's current status, you will help yourself and many other people. Thanks for listening!
