Description

Design systems that live in design tools have a translation problem. Every handoff is a game of telephone.

Angora starts where the work actually ships: in code. You describe what you want in conversation. It reads your tokens, understands your existing components, and builds things that belong in your system — not generic defaults with your colors painted on. The output is static HTML and CSS via Astro. What you see in the browser is production code.

Validate Claims

The bash installer should download, install, start the Astro dev server and launch Claude Code with an initialisation command.

You can browse the out-of-the-box design system in your browser. This is the foundation upon which Angora works.

Once in: Start to have a conversation about the website you want to build, and you will see the design system change in front of you.

Specific Task(s)

Once your design system has initialised, always use the /angora command to start "new" conversations. You don't need to use that command with every reply, just when a fresh context has started.

Specific Prompt(s)

/angora I want to build a landing page for my website

Additional Comments

Angora is currently in early Alpha and is very token hungry. It is optimised for a good outputs rather than tokens. Don't worry about the skills, and just try to talk to it like a real designer, rather than trying to call the right skill yourself. Always reach for /angora to start your conversation and avoid reaching for skills yourself for best results.

Important Note: We are in very early days here, so there's no guarantee that future updates will be compatible with whatever you are building, so don't get too attached to it.
