Since I updated from version 3.4.1 top 3.5.1 on my Gentoo system, htop is not able to show Systemd User correctly.

It's caused by 56c965d. systemctl show outputs key=value pairs separated by newlines and fgets preserves any newlines it finds. Then, strtoul points endptr to the first character past the number it parses, which should be those newlines, but the code thinks it should be a NUL character instead.

I tried changing all of the *endptr == '\0' to *endptr == '\n' in linux/SystemdMeter.c and that fixed the problem for me.

In case you're wondering why this only affects the systemd user meter and not the system one, it's because Gentoo installs /usr/bin/htop with file capabilities set (if USE=filecaps), which causes libsystemd's use of secure_getenv("DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS") to fail (as designed), which causes sd_bus_open_user to fail, which causes htop to fall back to calling out to systemctl. sd_bus_open_system still works because libsystemd has a default address which it falls back to when secure_getenv fails, but only for the system bus.
