These changes incorrectly replace workspace:^ with fixed, old versions of the packages. This is a significant downgrade and will likely break the build or cause runtime issues.

  • @backstage/config is being downgraded from the workspace version 1.0.8 to 0.1.1.
  • @backstage/errors is being downgraded from the workspace version 1.2.1 to 0.1.1.

The workspace:^ protocol is used in Yarn workspaces to link to local packages within the monorepo. Replacing it with a version from the npm registry defeats its purpose and introduces outdated code.

This is likely an error from Snyk's automated tool not understanding yarn workspaces correctly. These lines should be reverted to use workspace:^.
