Terms of Service for LocalBot

1. Agreement to Terms

By using LocalBot ("Bot"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Bot.

2. Usage Rights and Limitations

2.1 Permitted Use

  • Personal, non-commercial use only
  • Access through official Discord platform
  • Use of provided commands and features

2.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the Bot
  • Use the Bot for commercial purposes
  • Abuse or exploit Bot features
  • Automate interactions with the Bot
  • Interfere with Bot operations
  • Share access tokens or API keys

3. Service Availability and Updates

3.1 Availability

  • Service provided "as is" and "as available"
  • No guarantee of continuous availability
  • May be interrupted for maintenance or updates

3.2 Updates

  • Bot features may change without notice
  • Commands may be added or removed
  • User experience may be modified

4. User Conduct

Users must:

  • Follow Discord's Terms of Service
  • Use appropriate language and content
  • Respect other users
  • Report issues responsibly
  • Not spam commands or abuse features

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership

  • Bot code and features are proprietary
  • Generated content rights retained by owners
  • User-submitted content remains user property

5.2 Licenses

  • Open-source components under respective licenses
  • Bot usage license is non-transferable
  • No rights granted beyond explicit permissions

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Bot is provided without warranties:

  • No guarantee of accuracy
  • No fitness for particular purpose
  • No guarantee of security
  • No liability for data loss
  • No responsibility for third-party services

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 No Liability For

  • Service interruptions
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Command failures
  • External API issues
  • User-caused problems

7.2 Damage Limits

  • No liability for indirect damages
  • No liability for consequential losses
  • No compensation for service issues

8. Third-Party Services

8.1 External Services

  • YouTube integration
  • Weather services
  • Image generation
  • Lyrics databases

8.2 Responsibilities

  • Third-party terms apply
  • No guarantee of service quality
  • Independent service agreements

9. Termination

We may:

  • Suspend access without notice
  • Terminate service for violations
  • Modify or end service
  • Block abusive users
  • Remove harmful content

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to:
