Performance Metrics Documentation

Executive Summary

This document provides comprehensive before/after performance metrics for the VS Code StatusBar Quick Actions Extension optimization implementation. All measurements target sub-100ms execution times for core operations.

Performance Measurement Methodology

Testing Environment

  • Platform: Windows 11, VS Code 1.85+
  • Hardware: Intel i7, 16GB RAM, SSD
  • Test Configuration: 20+ buttons, complex visibility conditions
  • Measurement Tool: Custom benchmark suite with high-precision timing
