Cannot intercept pdf url inside webview in android.

webview opens a website, the website has a button with '<a href="https://xxxyyzz.pdf" target="_blank" >Click here to display menu</a>'

clicking on it doesnt do anything

Hey @Sushil-azaas, pdf viewing is not supported in webview for the plugin in Android currently.

You are able to use systemBrowser/externalBrowser which when clicking the link should download the pdf and allow you to open it.

@OS-pedrogustavobilro is there way to check if custom chorme tab is available in android when calling openInSystemBrowser().

I want to fall back to externalBrowser if systemBrowser is not available.

Hey @Sushil-azaas, don't think there is a way to check if Custom. Custom tabs has been around for a while now in Chrome, and a lot of other browsers support it for some time too, so I do believe it's unlikely an Android phone does support it.

However, if you'd still like to have a fallback, you may try the following: wrap the openInSystemBrowser call in a try-catch, check for error code 10, which means custom tabs failed to launch, and call openInExternalBrowser instead.

Hey @Sushil-azaas support for viewing pdf files in the plugin for Android in openInWebView was added (#73) - please update to version 2.3.0.
