GTK3 - WLX - PDF - wlxpview

I started working on testing all of the GTK3 based WLX PDF viewer plugins available.
I will make a post for each of them to share things I noticed if anyone is interested.

I do not think there is a GTK3 versions of this plugin?
I was able to compile it and it strangely half works :)

The toolbar/frame shows up, but the actual pdf pane itself does not show any pdf content.

I have both of the following libraries installed
libpoppler-dev
libpoppler-glib-dev
as well as a couple of others

-Am I correct in saying that this plugin will just remain a GTK2 based plugin?
-Also Zathura is another pdf viewer plugin, that I believe will remain GTK2 as well?

If either of these become GTK3 based, if anyone lets me know then maybe I can update this post in the future.
