if you edit the pkg-config line in the makefile, yes. (in)compatibility depends on whether gtk2 is used for the qt theme engine |

@Skif-off
Okay, here is my attempt at updating the
dubuild.mdfile.I created this post in the
Issuessection so I could close it when finished.SOME NOTES ABOUT CHANGES I MADE-I separated each section in the
Plugin Types:sectionThis way the links are in a list form that depict how they appear visually from top to bottom of this document. Hope this is okay.
-Some GTK2 plugins do not have
gtk2anywhere in their names.Therefore, I used
GTK2:orGTK3:prefixes for each item, just for clarity.Similar to how this was done in the QT5/QT6 section.
Hope that is alright.
-I used Debian based naming for packages because these are what I have access to
-Obviously not all of my dependency update may be correct but the general structure is at least there, and you guys can edit anything that is incorrect if you come across any issues.
-Very Important
When pasting my reply below this section caused some trouble so I had to remove the 3 symbols from top and bottom, make sure to add these back.
SOME ISSUES THAT WILL REQUIRE YOUR UPDATING/VERIFYINGdirsize_crapI removed the following item from this entry from the GTK section of this file.
This plugins folder does not exist?
There is no description for it in the
plugins.mdfileThis compiling info was in the
dubuild.mdfileThere is only a QT version called
dirsize_crap_qtAdd it back if I am mistaken to remove it
I removed this line because src/vw2 folder does not exist
from this item
Add it back if I am mistaken to remove it
gtk_socketSee this section, this section needs to be cleaned up the most :)
-It seems someone already modified the
Additions:for the GTK2 section and used GTK3 dependencies?I do not know what the older GTK dependencies were, if someone could revert GTK2 section back.
-GTK3 section
I do not know how to fix the markdown in this section?
I think should probably put a space in between the GTK2: and GTK3: sections.
If someone can add it, I put the text
PLEASE FIX THIS SECTION (ADD SPACE HERE)in this section
gtk_socket_tstSee this section
I am not sure how this one differs from the original?
If someone could update the dependencies for this one.
For now I just put
DEPENDENCIES REQUIRE UPDATINGmpv_waylandSee this new plugin in the qt5/qt6 section
I am not familiar with anything Wayland
Dependencies need to be updated
gtkimgviewplugin seriesI could not find the following dependency in my repo
libgtkimageview-devAll of these require it
If someone could update this with the appropriate dependency name?
qtimgviewqtimgview_crapSee these new plugin entries I added in the qt5/qt6 section
Dependencies need to be updated
Hope this was in some way helpful / worth the effort.
Thank You
