"Rear" Light Issues

I have "solid" pattern for stabilize, a slow constant flash for loiter, and a very fast constant flash for RTL.

Current firmware shows my solid pattern OK, with some "drop outs" now and then like it's flickering when it starts up.

Switch to loiter and I get my slow flash pattern.

Switch to RTL and I get my fast pattern with stutters and drop outs.

Switch back to loiter and I get my slow flash pattern.

Switch back to stabilize and the lights freak out, sorta like my RTL patten with more dropouts in it.

I am having the exact same issue you are. Did you ever get it resolved? When first turned on it goes through initial sequence with both left and right lights flashing about 20 times before all go solid except for the pulsating front light. I switch to altitude hold and flashing starts. Switch back to stabilize mode and the lights freak out. defiantly not following any pattern.
I recorded what it's doing this morning. I wonder what the common denominator is.

I guess I just figured it out. Did a Reset board settings which actually gave me an error saying it couldn't upload settings. Re-updated the firmware and saved settings. Everything seems to be working exactly as it should. Rear lights are not on until APM is armed. SHEW! Thought I had a bad board!

troy can you be more specific about the "freak" out thing.

on next release we have been thinking to give option in configurator that you can start flasher lights either full On or Off while disarmed

JPKH, if you watch my video you will see that instead of returning to the normal flash it should have for Stabilize mode it will do a really fast sporadic flashing. As stated in my follow-up message it was fixed by re-flashing and resetting the boards firmware.

Personally I like the "off for disarmed" and "on for armed" but the option would be nice. One thing I would like to see is the ability to have the lights indicate GPS ready status. A state when disarmed that the lights (one, all or select) flash to indicate if a GPS lock has been obtained.

Maybe this is already an option on pins 5 and 6? I don't know. The only diagrams I've seen only use pins 1-4.
