(1.2.0) Keyboard disconnect/reconnect

When you're in glint-es and you remove the keyboard (say, to insert a USB stick full of ROMs), the copying of ROMs works fine and all. However, when you plug the keyboard back in keystrokes are not recognized, which makes it quite difficult to do things like exit the emulator.

As we head toward a keyboardless setup by adding a simple button, I would like to not spend time on this but rather progress toward the button.

I agree. This case is here more for reference than anything right now.

Also, if we can't get the cost of the button below $20, it may turn into
something a little more pressing.

I got "exit via the controller" function working over on the glint-nes side of things, so I no longer need the keyboard for this item.

In your opinion, can I close this case if I re-add the Shutdown and Restart options to the menu?

The menu is for ES. Are we talking about retro arch?

Ah, I originally mentioned removing the keyboard in glint-es, but my actual concern was not being able to exit the game (like your button will). So, really I think this case is more about glint-nes know that you point it out more clearly.

Also the "exit the game with the controller" function is working quite well with the latest retroarch binary and supporting config file.

So, yes - thank you for the clarification, and I don't think we need this case anymore because we now have two options in front of us - the button on the Pi and the hotkeys implementation as possible ways to set this up.
