Hi @jesserizzo , several people have asked to upgrade the enphase envoy integration in Home Assistant to support the new authentication. Various custom integrations exist, the vast majority based on your excellent original enphase-reader.
As many are using the @briancmpbll custom integration we started from this one for a new version in Home Assistant core. Upon completion it would replace the current Enphase_envoy integration and no longer use the current envoy-reader.
As the code is based on your envoy-reader I want to recognize your MIT license and discuss if this is possible. As I understand it Home Assistant uses Apache 2.0 license and the contributor must sign a Contributor License Agreement confirming that the right to submit under Apache 2.0 license exist. It might also imply they wont accept it with the MIT License file.
What's your thoughts on this? Thanks for your help.
