I am trying to create a BPMN diagram in draw.io and export it as SVG file. In the editor, the diagram looks fine. The same is true when the exported SVG file is opened in Firefox. However, when I open the exported SVG file in Inkscape or PowerPoint, the rectangles representing the tasks are filled in black. Switching between light and dark mode, changing the fill color, and removing the text completely did not resolve the issue. The style settings for tasks and events are generally the same, yet events are visualized correctly.
In draw.io the diagram looks like this:
But when the exported SVG file is opened in Inkscape or PowerPoint, it looks like this:
I use the following style settings for the task rectangles:
- Fill: Solid (color: #FFFFFF)
I use the following setting when exporting the diagram as SVG file:
- Zoom: 100%
- Border Width: 0
- Size: Diagram
- Transparent Background: No
- Appearance: Light
- Shadow: No
- Include a copy of my diagram: No
- Embed Images: No
- Embed Fonts: Yes
- Links: Automatic
