Kit prompt not opening up

Suddenly Kit stopped working, I haven't done anything fancy just using the regular scripts.

The bug report is as follows:
When I try to click on the open kit prompt, the prompt doesn't fire up and even with the shortcut, it doesn't work :(

Try the main shortcut, then cmd+0.

This should clear the prompt position cache. It's possible a monitor/resolution/osx update cached the position "off-screen".

Clearing the data in ~/.kit/db/prompt.json should achieve the same thing.

Please let me know if that fixes it.

Try quitting the app from the menu bar, then re-opening.

If that doesn't help, quit, remove the sdk:

rm -rf ~/.kit

Then re-open and it will go through the setup process again.

@Rohithgilla12 Did you try just quitting first? I'm just curious if only quitting fixed it or if the issue was something with the ~/.kit dir

I tried

• quitting
• restarting my Mac
• reinstalling the app
• deleting the db
  But deleting the root folder helped.

I do have the copy of the root folder handy, let me know if you want to have a look for any root cause analysis

Thanks, that's really helpful!

I'm guessing something in the ~/.kit/db dir got corrupted. That's the only dir that has any "write" operations.
