About the Latency

I’m curious about the latency when controlling the mouse. Does the system require relatively slow movements to track the mouse accurately, or can it handle fast movements as well?

It's hard to give your a precise answer, it depends on many factors.

If you have a good camera (with a good framerate ) and enough resources on your machine to process all the images fast enough, I would say that it can be done with relatively small latency.

There is also some motion smoothing (to avoid the jittering of the cursor) that does introduce some latency. It can be tweaked with some settings when calling the code, to adapt better to your needs.
