If you can do an initial PR which adds typescript compilation to the build process and one file with types, sure. If that works then It'll be easy to merge in anything with types after that.

@jsfehler What do you mean by TypeScript compilation if we are talking about .d.ts file inclusion? Or you would prefer to convert the project to TS?
