Homepage formatting and style issues. #930

  • The home page has too many style patterns on it. Top part has text boxes and an example, then big box, then a bunch of small boxes, then some sections without boxes, then more boxes. Something seems off.
  • I think some of the divs/css are off. Margins get bigger as you go from developers to ecosystem to help.
  • If you play with responsive sizes, it often has 0 page margin. Some columns should probably also flow to stacked display vs squished side by side.
  • The language icon style for ecosystem section is going to hit same issue as developer section once there are two implementations of a spec in one lang. Maybe ecosystem section should use same style as above and list project name.
  • The developer section itself seems like an "ecosystem" of implementations.
  • The spec/repo icons are kinda nice. We should probably highlight the main specs that way too on the main page. It might work well having main specs with blurb and both links using same style has the related formats.
