Flexible initial baseline median period

Allow users to amend the default 8 points to a value of their choosing.
(Recommended to be an odd number so that the median is a true value within the dataset, rather than a potential 'x.5' resulting from averaging the middle 2 numbers if choosing an even number of data points)
