The current setup of jumpstarter offers a lot of useful features for HW orchestration, nevertheless in our infrastructure we do not have available any kubernetes cluster to server our labs. As a workaround we have created a k3d kubernetes in one of our servers and deployed jumpstarter CRDs in there, and we are using it to connect users to HW.
We are afraid this containerized solution is not suitable for our production environment therefore we wanted to ask if there is an alternative solution for this, either a standalone jumpcontroller independent from kubernetes, or a similar solution to k3d production probed.
