Station position wrong despite position entered in viewer settings

Hello everyone,

I got AIS Catcher set up on a Comar R500NGi. Everything works except for the position of the station in the web viewer. In the web viewer, the station is displayed on the Island of Wight although it is located elsewhere.
I have tried updating the installation to v0.68 59436e0. That did not fix the issue.

How can I fix this?

interesting. I am wondering if the location shown is coming from the Comar via GPS updates which is used to update the map.

Can you update to the latest AIS-catcher control version? I have added a Use GPS toggle. Maybe, set this to false, save and restart AIS-catcher.

I have no idea why your device is showing Isle of Wight... Except that is were the COMAR is produced :-)

Thank you for your quick help!

Running the latest update, disabling "Use GPS", and rebooting fixed the issue and the station position is now correctly displayed. Perhaps the onboard GNSS sensor outputs the Isle of Wight as default when no GPS antenna is connected.

Yes, it is a bit weird but glad it is resolved. I also updated AIS-catcher so that it shows the station with a blue border if location comes from GPS.
