Control+Alt+Space Popup not working under wayland

I've tried opening the Control+Alt+Space popup both under Cosmic and Gnome with Wayland, neither seems to be able to open the pop-up successfully.

Given that this functionality works w/ Wayland + KDE 6.3.5, that narrows it down to a Gnome issue... Conflicting keybinding maybe?

Well KDE and Gnome/Cosmic implement different portals as far as I know. Those have to be supported by the application as far as I'm aware. Also works for me under KDE.

I can confirm that the Control+Alt+Space popup also doesn’t work under Hyprland (Wayland). For me, there doesn’t seem to be an issue with the keybinding itself, since the same hotkey works in other applications.

This is not working for me under KDE Plasma (Wayland) anymore.

Note, this is also a big shame currently because it seems they added dictation to this popup, which is the only reason I use OpenAI.

+1 on Hyprland - is there a fix for this or a way to trigger it manually via the hyprland config?
