What happened that you did not expect?

Some users have reported in games with <10ms repeat rates that when they stop triggering a key map, the actions continue for a while.

What did you expect to happen?

They should stop in a timely manner.

What would the developer need to do to reproduce the bug?

Make a very fast key map and hold the key for a while, let go, and observe

im not sure there is a reliable solution for this. its not as simple as just adding a rate limiter, because this depends on the device and application the user is using. There isn't a way I can synchronize our inputs to the uinput device with Android's input framework. This problem only applies to users who are inputting key events with an expert mode trigger. So maybe for them, just show a warning when at the top of the bottom sheet for editing an action when they set the rate to under 20ms? The user will have to fine tune it to the minimum their device can handle.
