Looks good, however, I believe we can also stop setting device_detach_timeout (which we first started setting when we last bumped the branch) since that is fixed on this branch. Can we do that here?

Ah, indeed. Looks like https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/nova/+/966446/ need to be backported but this hasn't happened yet. Apologies for the misdirection 🙈
