onPress is not always firing on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Android 13 LineageOS 20.0. The checkbox only visibly bounces.

Unfortunately I do not have Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and could not reproduce the same issue on Android 13. If you have a chance to help me to fix it. I would love that otherwise it will stay as community help needed.

I am experiencing the same issue on Samsung Galaxy J3(2017), Android 9. The same code works on a ZTE Axon 11 (Android 11). I think it might be related to this React issue: facebook/react-native#36710
