πŸ” Java PIN Generator (Terminal Tool)

What is this?

A lightweight Java-based PIN & password generator that runs fully offline in the terminal. It allows you to: Choose PIN length Include letters Include numbers Include special characters Generate multiple unique PINs Built for simplicity, learning, and real use without relying on online generators. Why this tool exists Most online PIN generators: Require internet Track usage Limit customization This tool: Runs locally Is fully customizable Works on phones via Termux Is fast and private

⚠ Important note about PIN length (READ THIS)

If you choose: Length = 5 And enable letters + numbers + special characters You may see a PIN longer than 5 characters. Why? Each loop iteration adds: 1 letter (if enabled) 1 number (if enabled) 1 special character (if enabled) So one loop can add multiple characters. Example: Length = 5 All options enabled Result β‰ˆ 15 characters This is expected behavior, not a bug. If you want exact length, only enable one option (for example: numbers only). Requirements Android phone Termux installed No prior Java setup needed

πŸ“² How to install Java on Termux (first time only)

Go to app store or google store and download the app termux then once you open the app you tyoe in the following commands pkg update && pkg upgrade pkg install openjdk-17 ( openjdk might need a new version follow the on screen to download the new version ) then after you proceed with those commands you go to your downloads by ttping the following command cd storage/downloads if it gives you error type termux-setup-storage then try again then check if the file is there by typing ls you should see pinGenerator.java then you guve termux access to it by typing javac pinGenerator.java then you run it by typing java pinGenerator If you find this project useful, consider supporting me β†’ https://ko-fi.com/javamaster
