From 6fe015325d78a73f2f06d1f57f42f0550aa3817f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Ben Lovell Date: Thu, 28 Aug 2025 19:26:55 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Update pronunciation link on README.md MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Unfortunately, seems like linedict is no more, and the thing that replaced it doesn't seem to have pronunciation for 考察 (although it seems to be very happy to give five different pronunciations for the English translation "nose around"). Hanzii.net appears to be maintained, and has a nicer pronunciation (imo) than Forvo's Mandarin one. And Pleco is unfortunately still mobile only. --- README.md | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/README.md b/README.md index 144f9f21..529e6182 100644 --- a/README.md +++ b/README.md @@ -24,7 +24,7 @@ Jump to [Quick start](#quick-start) | [Docs](#docs) - to observe and study - on-the-spot investigation -See the [Line Dict entry](https://dict.naver.com/linedict/zhendict/dict.html#/cnen/entry/89b3f694bb3a4fd49e3241c6bd1cb79f) for an audio sample. +See the [Hanzii entry](https://hanzii.net/search/word/%E8%80%83%E5%AF%9F) for an audio sample. ## Need help?
