Hi @softanemone! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the dify-plugin-daemon team.

This appears to be the same issue reported in #687 [1]. The HTTP 400 on the /decode/from_identifier endpoint is a symptom of the plugin failing to install its dependencies properly.

In version 0.5.6-local, uv sync --no-dev still attempts to resolve dev dependencies (like black, pytest, ruff) listed in the plugin's pyproject.toml, and when those packages aren't available in the bundled wheels, the installation fails [1].

This was addressed by PR #651, which reverted the problematic --offline flag implementation. After that fix, the recommended approach for offline installation is to configure the difypkg properly:

• For plugins with pyproject.toml: add no-index and find-links under [tool.uv]
• For plugins with requirements.txt: add --no-index and --find-links as the first lines

You can also use the dify-plugin-offline-packager tool to create properly bundled offline packages [2].

Make sure you're using a daemon version that includes PR #651 (merged March 25, 2026). The 0.5.6-local tag may predate this fix.
