layer5-academyrepository to use an npm-managed version of Hugo (extended) and standardizes the Makefile targets. This streamlines the setup process by removing the need for contributors to globally install Hugo on their local machines, ensuring version consistency between local environments and CI workflows.Key Changes:
check-depstarget to validate dependencies and rerouted standard commands (site,serve,build,clean) to trigger their respective local npm scripts.dev:*scripts (e.g.,dev:build,dev:site,dev:serve) to explicitly handle Hugo commands using the local node module.README.mdandCONTRIBUTING.mdto remove references to a global Hugo installation and emphasize the unifiedmake setup->make siteworkflow.Acceptance Tests:
make setupinstalls the local hugo-extended dependency cleanly.make sitesuccessfully spins up the local development server using the NPM-managed binary.make cleancorrectly wipes the build cache.This PR fixes #228
