+  - Place chicken (fresh or frozen) in crockpot.
+  - Cut up butter and cream cheese into chunks and place on chicken.
+  - Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix over the chicken.
+  - Cook chicken in crock pot for 3-4 hours on high or 5-7 hours on low. Check moisture during the second half of cooking, if too try, add 2-4 tablespoons of water.
+  - Shred chicken before serving.
+  - Serve chicken over vegetables, noodles, or rice.
