Problem or use case

There is currently only x86 support for Linux. ARM64 support would be great for running on ashai linux etc.

Proposed solution

Try making an arm64 build and see if it compiles without any huge hiccups.

I don't have access to Linux on arm. It'd be great if you could set up Rust and build it yourself and let us know!

It builds correctly on the linux/rust branch.! It took a couple of restarts to fully recognize the airpods. Battery status works, but changing any of the settings doesn't seem to apply.
