Just adding this in as it is a constant pain point, things seem to heavily depend on the hardware and underlying operating system.
Multiple users have had success and even an Unraid user so it is possible, it is just not something you can recommend for every user, AMD/Intel will always work better until Nvidia Wayland support stabilizes.
