Is new version 2.0.6 legitimate?

I see a new version of this PowerShell module on the PowerShell Gallery - version 2.0.6, released on 26th June 2026. I just wanted to validate if this version is legitimate as I see no reference to it on this repository and the module hasn't been updated in over 8 years, so it seems suspicious. Many thanks.

Yep! You've just got ahead of me from the official release announcement.

v2 adds PSCore support, as well as macos and linux powershell support.

Of course nothing with MIM is straightfoward, so there are some readings needed to understand the extent of the various support scenarios
