1. Settings > Version Control > Commit. Modify the Scope pattern:

   

2. The Conventional Commits spec doesn't support prefixing a type with other tokens, so it's unlikely I'll add support for that.

I think supporting gitmoji could be offered as an optional extension, even though Conventional Commits itself doesn’t use it.

This idea is inspired by examples from commitlint.js.org (https://commitlint.js.org/reference/examples.html), and it has gained considerable popularity on GitHub. Supporting it could become a forward-looking feature for users who want to adopt gitmoji alongside conventional commit rules.

@lzh2587379717 It's indeed a legitimate feature to want. I'm currently working on refactoring the core part of the extension to remove all deprecated/obsolete API usages, and then I'll work on improving the completion part. Completion is currently done through a very complicated regular expression that obviously doesn't scale well. I need to replace it with a proper parser, and then other features may be integrated.

That sounds great! Offering gitmoji as an optional extension would be a nice addition for users who want it. I’m looking forward to the parser-based completion and the possibilities it will unlock.
