Description

@deluca0206

Description

When a page has a horizontal scrollbar positioned at the bottom of the screen, the Aurora Shell dock appears when the cursor moves close to that area.

As a result, the dock overlaps the scrollbar and makes it difficult or impossible to interact with it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a page with content wider than the screen.
2 .Scroll to a position where the horizontal scrollbar is visible at the bottom.
  2. Move the cursor toward the scrollbar.
  3. Try to click or drag the horizontal scrollbar.

Affected Module

Dock

GNOME Shell Version

50.3

Distribution

Fedora 44

Session Type

Wayland

Additional Context

Actual Result

When the cursor approaches the bottom of the screen, the dock appears and overlaps the horizontal scrollbar, interfering with clicking and dragging.

Expected Result

The user should be able to click and drag the horizontal scrollbar without the dock appearing or covering it.

Suggested Behavior

Aurora Shell should avoid displaying the dock while the user is interacting with a horizontal scrollbar located at the bottom of the screen.
