Any recommendations on importance of metrics

Hi,

as all metrics are overwhelming, I see it most important to explain to
users about the most important metrics, mid-important, and less important.

So an idea would be to group them by importance.
Also, are there any experiences with very helpful metrics?

More information & explanation would be a killer feature.
I am looking forward to pass some by myself, too.

Great idea! There is already a JSON file with metrics metadata, but adding importance field for each metric would be definitely a killer feature.

Probably you're right, and it's something for an upcomping project.

The goal is to have a fast and easy understandable prioritized presetted view of the project,
hiding more unimportant metrics in detail views or just igoring them and giving recommanded
presets of rules, when a metric s result should not be ignored.

A good example of the dimension I'm thinking of is e.g.: http://nemo.sonarqube.org/

So how do you think?

I'm totally for this idea, no irony intended :)

However, I see it more as a long lasting "project". Marking 100+ metrics with a propery "priority" / "importance grade" will take a while.
