Flashing to n900 EMMC

Is there any way that we can get Leste to flash to EMMC?
It runs super slow on the sd card and xorg seems to crash after a few minutes

Hi. The project has migrated to https://git.maemo.org/ , so I would recommend opening the issue there.

As for your question:

You can partition the eMMC (using gparted, for example), and install Leste in one of the partititions. However, the performance of the eMMC is not much different than a low-quality SD card.

Your experience on the SD should improve if you keep in mind the following:

1. mount the card on a PC, then modify the /etc/fstab file in it, then add the following line: /swap none swap defaults 0 0
2. be aware that first-boot takes a long time
3. use the best quality SD card you can find

If it runs super slow the main issue is 100% due to slow SDcard: EMMC is slower than good U3 SDcard.
Xorg 'crash' is due to wrong swap as previously mentioned.
BTW there is still no N900 img running well OOTB unfortunately...
