Terminal syntax highlighting is missing

Describe the bug
In the MATLAB IDE, strings, variables, comments, etc have different colours. In the VS Code terminal, everything is the same colour. It would be nice if the same syntax highlighting that gets applied to the VS Code editor was also applied to the current command (and command history panel) in the VS Code terminal.
