Version 1.1 — February 27, 2026 https://www.gymoneglobal.com
We as members, contributors, and maintainers of the GYM One project pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, experience level, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
We are committed to fostering an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and respectful community — one where collaboration thrives and every voice is heard.
Examples of behavior that contribute to a positive environment include:
- Using welcoming and inclusive language
- Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
- Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
- Showing empathy and kindness toward others
- Giving credit where credit is due — acknowledging the contributions of others
- Focusing on what is best for the community, not just the individual
- Being patient with newcomers and those still learning
- Keeping discussions on-topic and constructive
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- The use of sexualized language or imagery
- Trolling, insulting, or derogatory comments, including personal attacks
- Public or private harassment of any kind
- Publishing others' private information (e.g., real name, address, contact details) without explicit permission — commonly known as "doxxing"
- Deliberate intimidation, threats, or stalking
- Sustained disruption of discussions, issues, or community spaces
- Spamming, self-promotion unrelated to the project, or off-topic solicitation
- Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional or open-source setting
Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate, consistent, and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.
Maintainers have the right and responsibility to:
- Remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that do not align with this Code of Conduct
- Temporarily or permanently ban contributors whose behavior is deemed harmful, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate
- Communicate the reason for moderation decisions when appropriate
Maintainers who do not follow or enforce this Code of Conduct in good faith may face consequences as determined by other members of the project's leadership.
This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces and public communication channels, including but not limited to:
- GitHub repositories (issues, pull requests, discussions, code reviews)
- Official Discord or other chat platforms
- Project-related social media accounts
- Conferences, meetups, or events where the project is represented
It also applies when an individual is officially representing the project in public spaces — for example, using an official project email, posting from an official account, or acting as a designated representative at an event.
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project team at:
Reports can be made anonymously if preferred. All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality.
When reporting an incident, please include:
- A description of the behavior and why you consider it a violation
- The platform or location where it occurred (e.g., GitHub issue #123, Discord)
- Any relevant links, screenshots, or context
- Whether you are reporting on your own behalf or on behalf of someone else
All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. The enforcement process may include:
- Warning — A private written warning with an explanation of the violation.
- Temporary suspension — Temporary removal from community spaces for a defined period.
- Permanent ban — Permanent exclusion from all project spaces for repeated or severe violations.
The maintainers are committed to ensuring that all enforcement decisions are proportionate, consistent, and free from bias.
Before escalating to a formal report, we encourage community members to attempt good-faith resolution directly when the situation is safe and appropriate to do so. Many conflicts can be resolved through respectful, private communication. If a direct resolution is not possible or appropriate, please use the reporting process above.
This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1, with additional sections tailored for the GYM One community.
