[Bug]: Settings configuration hangs at 0% on Google Pixel 10 Pro (Bluetooth 6.0 / Android 16)

Steps to reproduce the bug

• Connect Device to Phone via bluetooth
• Go to settings and try to get to any of the Radio, Device or Module settings
• A dialog box pops up displaying 0% and stays there indefinitely. The actual settings do not get retrieved.

Actual behavior

When connecting via Bluetooth or WiFi, maps/messages/node list all work correctly. Attempting to access ANY settings screen (Radio Configuration, Module Configuration, Channels) shows a 0% progress dialog that hangs indefinitely and never completes.

Expected behavior

Clicking on any of the device related settings should fetch and display the settings and allow them to be changed.

Additional information

What works:

• USB serial connection via web client (client.meshtastic.org) - full settings access works perfectly on all devices

What was tried:

• Full uninstall and reinstall of app
• Rollback to 2.7.5
• Unpair all devices from Android Bluetooth, re-pair fresh through app
• All permissions granted (Location, Nearby Devices, Camera, Notifications)
• Battery optimization set to Unrestricted

This has been fixed in the newer app (2.7.14) and newer firmware.
You can join the android beta in googleplaystore if you dont want manually download the apk from github for the latest app.

Time to upgrade. Despite being stable, 2.7.15 firmware is getting a little long in the tooth.

I updated the Android app to pre-release ver 2.7.14 (29320878) from github. I also updated the firmware on the T-Echo to the alpha ver 2.7.24.472b14c. I'm still getting the issue:

• Connects on bluetooth fine
• I can see map and nodes list etc.
• On the Settings screen once I click on a specific setting (in this example the "User" setting) I get a 0% progress dialog that stays.
• Now after about 20 seconds or so it gives a Error - Timeout dialog.
• When I close it it shows the setting screen but with blank / default values. Not what it read from the device.

Weird. Dump the serial logs when that happens and post it here.
