  • Deprecate get_front_matter and front_matter_index
  • Re-point front matter tests to properties functionality
  • Add methods & attributes for aliases to the API
  • Better handling of numeric and checkbox properties in the API

Out of scope for now:

  • Support for JSON properties (rather than YAML properties)
