Chat files and transcripts
Chat files are helpful to quickly draft conversational flows for your bot during design phase.

Emulator can
- Render .chat and .transcript files as a conversation.
- If you open a .chat file, emulator will convert it into a .transcript file in memory.
- Save an active conversation as a .transcript file.
To view .chat files and .transcript files, simply click on 'Resources' tab in emulator.
By default emulator looks for
- .chat files in all sub-folders and the folder where your .bot file is saved.
- .transcript files under transcripts folder where your .bot file is saved.
You can change this to a different path on your device by clicking on Choose a different location
With a live chat session with your local or remote bot, click on 'Save transcript as..'
