Inspectors
Emulator offers inspectors to view the back and forth activity payload exchanged between the client and your bot.
Additionally, Emulator also supports rich inspectors for certain types of trace activities from your bot - e.g. LUIS and QnA Maker trace activities.
To inspect any incoming or outgoing activity, simply click on the specific activity you wish to inspect in the LOG window.
If your bot uses the LUIS recognizer in the Bot Builder SDK, Emulator will show trace activities in the Log view that represent the actual payload returned by LUIS.ai for that call.
The LUIS inspector also allows you to reassign an utterance to a different intent. Once you do this, you can train and publish the LUIS model from right within the Emulator.
QnA Maker inspector behaves the same way as the LUIS inspector above and enables you to make quick changes to your QnA Maker knowledge base from right within the Emulator.
