An out-of-band update was made today to rebuild all .NET Windows container images. This affects all supported Windows versions:
- Windows Server Core 2016
- Windows Server Core 2019
- Windows Server Core, version 20H2
- Windows Server Core 2022
Normally, updates to Windows images are only done on Patch Tuesday (2nd Tuesday of the month). In this case, an out-of-band update was made today to the base Windows images which prompted a rebuild of the .NET images. See KB5010791 for more info on the Windows update.
