Erro "program too big“

I've encountered an issue where my program is too large for the micro:bit v1, and the pxt build command fails with the message "program too big by xxx bytes!" How can I configure my project to build exclusively for micro:bit v2?

        "mbdal"
    ],

to your pxt.json, which will disable building for the v1
