Describe the issue

Hi team,
I’ve been running into a few ongoing issues with the Testing Explorer:

Clicking a specific test in the left pane sometimes runs the entire test suite instead
At times it reports that no tests were run after clicking a test
The “Run test” icon in the editor appears inconsistently

Overall it feels a bit unreliable at the moment. Happy to help with diagnostics - let me know what logs or details would be useful and how to capture them. Thank you.

I'm seeing similar behaviour, often tests are skipped or not discovered properly if the source changes and I don't manually build the required project(s) and reload the extension. Test discovery and reliability have taken a hit in the recent large update for me.

Another issue thats been around for a while: I'll filter the tests on the left, click Run on just one of them, or its test fixture, but it decides to run the entire test suite.
