Make more settings available at the configuration level besides the global level

Currently "makefile.configurations" contains "makePath", "makefilePath", "makeArgs" and "buildLog". It will soon contain "preconfigureScript" but maybe there are more that make sense to be defined at this level as well (buildLog, extensionLog, configurationCache, ... etc ...).

builgLog is, extensionLog & configurationCachePath isn't.
We need to actually brainstorm this. At the same time, variable expansion saves us with an alternative (define global but use "${configuration} to obtain different result based on what's chosen... which is the same as defining the end result inside each configuration), but for consistency we need to sit down and review all the settings where they make sense: global or global and configuration local.
