conda environments are no longer detected as kernels

All my Conda environments cannot be detected and selected (except the base one) just after the VS Code automatically upgraded this afternoon.

VS Code version: 1.104.0
Jupyter Extension version: 2025.8.0
Python Extension version: 2025.14.0

Same issue occurred when running locally / on WSL.

I have already tried disabling and reinstalling the Jupyter and Python extensions earlier but didn't work. When I select the Conda environment I need in another .py script, that environment reappears in Jupyter. This resolves the issue temporarily for now.

I ran into the same problem with 2025.8.0 jupyter extension. Reinstalling the python Env extension doesn't help but disabling it helps.
