Summary of Changes

Hello @yhmo, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request prepares the milvus-sdk-java project for its upcoming 2.6.13 release. It primarily focuses on updating all version references within the project's build configurations and documentation, and formally listing the new features that will be part of this release in the changelog.

Highlights

  • Version Bump: The project version has been updated from 2.6.12 to 2.6.13 across all relevant configuration files and documentation.
  • New Features Documented: The changelog now includes entries for two new features in version 2.6.13: support for searching by ID and support for highlighter in search results.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.

Code Review

This pull request prepares for the v2.6.13 release by updating version numbers across the project in pom.xml, README.md, and adding a new entry to CHANGELOG.md. The changes are appropriate for a release preparation.

However, my review of the codebase in context of the changelog revealed a critical issue. One of the new features, 'Support search by id', appears to be incompletely implemented. The VectorService.search() method does not handle the ids provided in a SearchReq, which means the feature will not work as described. I have left a detailed comment on the CHANGELOG.md file. It is crucial to address this discrepancy before finalizing the release.
